Located in downtown Auckland, The Hotel Britomart is a sister property to The Landing, bringing a taste of the magic of our Residences into the heart of the vibrant central city.
A soulful, smart and contemporary retreat rising 10 storeys within the heritage Britomart precinct on the harbourfront, The Hotel Britomart was created by the same team behind The Landing. Each room is crafted as an experience of tactile, restful elegance, with the pinnacle of luxury found in the five spacious Landing Suites. The suites are named after five different bays at The Landing, and like our four Residences, each has a unique perspective and design mood. Three suites sit atop The Hotel Britomart, looking out to the harbour, while two are found in a glassy pavilion on the roof of the adjacent century-old Buckland Building, accessed through the hotel’s fourth floor.
The Wairoa Suite
Sitting at the western end of The Hotel Britomart’s top floor, the 59 sqm Wairoa Suite boasts expansive views of the glittering Waitemata Harbour from its spacious lounge, and equally showstopping vistas of the harbour and the city skyline from its generous bedroom. Both these spaces open onto a sunny 27sqm terrace, where you can relax in the sunshine amid lush plantings. On cooler nights, turn on the outdoor fireplace and wrap up while you admire the shimmer of the city lights.
The Te Puna Suite
Pronounced ‘Tay poon-ah’
With a front-row seat at the top of The Hotel Britomart, the Te Puna Suite’s big windows are the perfect place for taking in views of the Waitemata Harbour all the way to the dramatic slopes of Auckland’s North Shore. The Britomart neighbourhood, home to New Zealand’s leading fashion labels, award-winning eateries and salons and a vibrant nightlife, lies at your feet.
The Rangihoua Suite
You could easily spend all day just looking out the windows. The 65 sqm Rangihoua Suite on the top floor of The Hotel Britomart looks north to the Waitemata Harbour and Auckland’s North Shore, and east over Takutai Square, the sunny public space at the heart of the Britomart neighbourhood. The beautifully planted 35sqm terrace enjoys wraparound views of the city skyline, with an outdoor fireplace to warm up beside on cooler nights.
The Hohi Suite
The Hohi Suite and the neighbouring Poraenui Suite are located in a brand-new pavilion constructed like a sleek little secret atop the heritage Buckland Building, which adjoins The Hotel Britomart (accessed from Level Four of The Hotel Britomart’s main building). The 60 sqm suite has dramatic, loft-like ceilings, lavish linen drapes, and views eastwards towards Takutai Square, the sunny central space at the heart of the Britomart neighbourhood.
The Poraenui Suite
Rooftop living at its best: The Hotel Britomart’s Poraenui Suite is a beautifully kept secret, occupying a sleek, glassy pavilion tucked discreetly onto the rooftop of the heritage Buckland Building (accessed from Level Four of The Hotel Britomart building). A perfect blend of heritage and modernity, this is a loft-like 74sqm suite where the living room and bedroom open onto a fantastically private 28 sqm terrace with views across neighbouring heritage rooftops to the city and Takutai Square.
