We have put together for you some example itineraries to help you plan your short break.
Two-night stay example itinerary:
Day one:
- Arrive at Kerikeri airport where you will be met up by a member of The Landing team who will transfer you to your Residence.
- Settle into your Residence and enjoy breathtaking views of the Bay of Islands and across The Landing.
- Enjoy a wine tasting of The Landing wines at the onsite Winery and Tasting Room overlooking the vineyard.
- Explore the 1,000-acre property through a network of walking tracks.
- Enjoy a BBQ Al fresco dinner with Wairoa Bay at your doorstep.
- See kiwi in their natural habitat with a guided walk through the native bush and wetlands.
Day two:
- Start your day with a delicious breakfast including The Landing honey, fresh eggs from our very own hens, and estate extra virgin olive oil.
- Embark our private boat for a cruise across the sparkling waters of the Bay of Islands and anchor in a sheltered bay for lunch prepared by our private chef.
- Step back in time with a guided tour of The Landing and its significant historic sites and vineyard.
- Relax at leisure on one of our six private beaches, ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking or snorkeling.
- Enjoy a garden to plate dinner created to suit your tastes by our head chef using the best seasonal local ingredients from the property and region, served in the privacy of your Residence, and paired with The Landing wines.
Day three:
- Follow the scenic walking tracks that lead to the Rangihoua Heritage Park and Marsden Cross before returning to a delicious breakfast in the garden or outdoor terrace.
- As you depart The Landing visit the Farmers’ market in the nearby town of Kerikeri, for local artisan delicacies.
