Ben Bayly travels to Northland and learns about wine in the region at The Landing.
From reeling in a snapper with our skipper, Brett to going on a historical tour of The Landing and nearby cultural sites at Rangihoua it was a feast for the senses. A tour of the vineyard is never complete without a chat with viticulturalist, Tereza. With a new nautical miles covered and climbing our steep hillside vineyards, we settled in for a wine tasting with winemaker, Ben. With all the senses activated Ben and head chef Matt cooked up a storm down at The Boathouse. The crew departed with a great understanding of our food and wine story, and some full bellies!
